Ami joined The Smallpeice Trust in 2016, initially working to ensure our residential courses ran smoothly and safely. Many years later, she now works as an Education Officer running STEM events across the country.
She is passionate about helping young people find something that inspires them - that makes them want to ask questions and excites them about the future possibilities of what they could do.
Ami told us: “Our STEM days and residential courses are so important in providing young people with a broad range of skills and opportunities and gain an insight into the broad scope of engineering.
“And I love seeing the progress students make over the course of the day at our events, with many coming out of their shell and even surprising their teachers.”
