Ready for lift off? Join the Thales Primary Glider Challenge!
Send your students on a journey to discovery this Science Week. This FREE programme invites 10 state primary schools to take flight into the fascinating world of STEM, generously sponsored by Thales.
Year 5-6 students (or equivalent) will soar into a world of innovation and creativity and take part in a half-day virtual workshop, delivered by The Smallpeice Trust that brings the excitement of aerospace engineering right into classrooms across the UK.
About the STEM Challenge Day
During the event, students will team up to design, build, and test three unique gliders, each a masterpiece of form, shape, and materials. The sky's the limit as they unleash their creativity and engineering skills!
