Join us at the University of Leeds for three-day residential course and experience life as an undergraduate engineer. This course offers an insight into the type of engineering taught at the University of Leeds through a series of engaging lectures and interactive activities in Electronic & Electrical, Civil, Chemical & Process Engineering and Chemistry. You will receive a campus tour, meet current engineering undergraduates and work in specialist laboratories.
During the course, you’ll have the chance to meet fellow students who share your passion for Engineering and explore how the subject can be used to shape a more sustainable world.
You will stay in student halls accommodation situated on campus and eat in the student refectory.
This course is open to Year 12 students in England and Wales, S6 students in Scotland, and Year 13 students in Northern Ireland.

What
Staying on-site at the University of Leeds, students will experience life as an undergraduate with full access to the university’s lecture theatres and laboratories.
Each day will focus on a different engineering topic. Students will meet leading academics and current undergraduates from the university, whilst participating in a range of hands-on activities and immersive workshops.
Projects will include exploring how to recycle waste materials into valuable products, developing sustainable transport solutions to reduce carbon emissions, working with robotics and electronics, and investigating chemical engineering processes for a greener future.
During the evening, students will get involved in fun social activities with the chance to interact with peers and build lasting friendships.
